Cary P. Hagan (President & CEO)
Cary Hagan joins Intrinsic from Wright Medical, where he was most recently Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa. He began his career at Wright Medical in 1989 and advanced through a series of sales and marketing positions with increasing responsibility. As Product Manager and then Senior Director of Biologics, Mr. Hagan was pivotal in the rapid growth of Wrights Orthobiologics program from “point zero” to market segment leader. Later as Vice President Marketing, Global OrthoRecon, he oversaw a turnaround in Wright’s Hip and Knee growth rates to roughly two times the industry average. Mr. Hagan’s most recent experience as Sr. Vice President, Commercial Operations for Europe, Middle-East and Africa gave him full management and P & L responsibility for Wright’s EMEA operations.
Cary completed undergraduate at Westminster College in Fulton Missouri, with majors in both Business Administration & Economics. He later earned a Master’s in Business Administration at St. Louis University & Webster Universities, with a focus on International Business.
Jacob Einhorn (Chief Operating Officer)
Prior to joining Intrinsic, Jacob Einhorn was Director of Product Development for Nippon Stryker, the Japanese operating division of Stryker Corporation, a global medical device company focused on the orthopedic market, where Jacob was responsible for establishing Stryker’s first R&D presence in Asia.
Jacob received a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Anthropology from the Johns Hopkins University in 1992. Following several years of consumer products research and consumer advocacy in Washington, DC, he received a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 1997. He holds numerous patents in the field of orthopedics.
Noel Rolon (Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs)
Noel Rolon joined Intrinsic Therapeutics on November 1, 2010 as Vice President Clinical and Regulatory Affairs. Recently, Noel worked with Impliant and Gentis Inc. in similar capacities, and previously was with Synthes Spine, Johnson & Johnson and Hoffmann La Roche, respectively, over a career spanning 30 years.
At Synthes, Noel was Director Global Clinical Affairs on major product platforms such as Prodisc-L, Prodisc-C and the In-Space interspinous spacer. Noel's 20 year career at J&J, finally as Director, Worldwide Clinical Operations at Ethicon, was spent in clinical roles of increasing responsibility within Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Ortho McNeil Pharmaceutical, Cordis Corporation and Ethicon including Mitek, the world's leading supplier of surgery based medical devices. While at J&J, Noel built multiple clinical research teams serving a variety of global therapeutic areas, executed several pivotal clinical studies supporting both 510k and IDE/PMA approvals, and received numerous awards for his work, including the President's and Vice President's Awards for work with infectious diseases. Prior to JNJ Noel spent five years with Hoffmann-La Roche in the therapeutic drug and biologics arenas and began his healthcare career in pathology at Hackensack Medical Center, New Jersey. Noel received his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, Master of Biological Sciences from Montclair University, NJ, and Cytotechnologist Certification from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Remco Maljers (Vice President, Global Sales)
Remco Maljers joined Intrinsic from Wright Medical where he was most recently Vice President Northern Europe. During his tenure in Wright Medical Remco was responsible for building up the distribution network in Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and later also for the subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and Belgium.
Remco brings 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the global orthopedic and spinal industry to Intrinisic Therapeutics. He started his career with the Waldemar Link distributor in The Netherlands and later joined Medtronic Sofamor Danek where he held several international marketing positions. His most important achievement in Medtronic was the European launch and introduction of the TSRH-3D system, a thoracolumbar pedicle screw system.
Ivo Scheepens (Vice President, Global Marketing)
Ivo Scheepens joined Intrinsic from Wright Medical, where he was most recently Vice President Marketing for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He has brought over 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the global orthopedic and spinal industry. Ivo started his career with Sofamor Danek, later Medtronic Spine, where he has held a number of Sales and Marketing management positions both in Europe and in the United States. Ivo was part of Medtronic’s global Marketing team who developed and brought to market their Minimal Access Spine Technologies (MAST) platform.
Greg Lambrecht (Founder & Executive Director)
Prior to joining Intrinsic, Greg Lambrecht was a Vice President of Product Development & Marketing at Stryker, a global orthopedic implant company, where he directed the development and launch of numerous successful orthopedic implants. Greg also held various management positions in product and business development within Pfizer’s Medical Technology Group. The core of his career at Pfizer was implementing a process for inventing and developing new technologies that best met the needs of Pfizer’s physician customers worldwide.
Greg received a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1990 and returned to the same institution for a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993. He holds numerous patents in the fields of gynecology, general surgery, cardiology, and orthopedics.
