This section provides an overview of the Intrinsic Therapeutics Compliance program including its structure, policies, procedures and contact information.
In the course of its normal business operations, Intrinsic Therapeutics routinely retains healthcare professionals (HCPs) as consultants. The Intrinsic Therapeutics Compliance Committee (ITCC) shall review such activities to ensure that they support bona fide global business needs and are consistent with all applicable Intrinsic Therapeutics policies and guidelines.
Health Care Professionals (HCPs) refers to individuals and entities that are (1) involved in providing health care services and/or items to patients and (2) in a position to purchase, lease, recommend, use, arrange for the purchase or lease of, or prescribe Intrinsic products. The phrase Health Care Professional is to be interpreted broadly and includes both persons providing services (such as physicians, physician assistants, nurses, operating room staff, consultants) and persons who do not provide services directly (such as administrative hospital or office staff), but who may be involved in the decision to purchase, lease, or recommend Intrinsic products. Health Care Professionals also include purchasing agents, physician’s practice managers and management within group purchasing organization.
The Intrinsic Therapeutics Compliance Committee (ITCC) consists of individuals from cross-functional departments responsible for monitoring and reviewing activities to ensure consistent and compliant practices. Corporate Compliance Mission Statement: Intrinsic Therapeutics is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and to strictly complying with the guidelines, rules, and regulations that govern our global business practices. Intrinsic Therapeutics corporate responsibility to drive the core values of integrity, ethical behavior, professionalism, and trustworthiness, allows us to demonstrate our commitment to compliance excellence and exemplary corporate citizenship.

Ethics, Compliance and Certification
For medical technology companies, interacting with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) is a key component of their day to day activities. HCPs are an integral part of the R&D process and a source of innovation and creativity during the development of medical devices. HCPs are also the prime users of technologies and play an instrumental role in the successful adoption of innovative medical devices throughout Europe and beyond. Companies are also required to provide HCPs with appropriate instruction, education, training, service and technical support to ensure delivery of modern, safe and effective medical technology and care to patients. The medical technology industry represented by Eucomed is committed to ensuring that its collaboration with HCPs adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards.
Intrinsic Therapeutics relationships with Consultants, including surgeons and other Healthcare Professionals (“HCPs”), are governed by the “Eucomed Code of Ethics: Guidelines on the Interaction with Healthcare Professionals.”
Without reservation, Intrinsic Therapeutics strongly endorses both the letter and spirit of the “Eucomed Code of Ethics: Guidelines on the Interaction with Healthcare Professionals.”
